How to Make Everyday Chai Recipe

Here’s a simple and fast recipe for you, enjoy!


Every Chai Recipe
(2 cups)

ingredients

  • 2 tsp. black tea

  • 250ml or 1 1/2 cup water

  • 65ml or 1/4 cup milk (of your choice)

  • 1 inch cinnamon stick

  • 1/2 tsp. fennel seeds

  • 1 clove

  • 1 green cardamom pod

  • 1 peppercorn

  • 1 star anise

preparation

  1. Bring the water, ginger, and all spices to a boil in a small saucepan.

  2. Let boil for 1 minute.

  3. The fragrance should start taking over your kitchen.

  4. Add the tea leaves and let boil for another minute.

  5. Add the milk.

  6. Bring to a boil, add sugar if you please, and simmer for 30 seconds and turn off the stove.

  7. If you like a strong chai, cover the saucepan and let it brew for a couple of more minutes.

  8. Strain the hot tea and enjoy with or without sugar.
